"There are some good elements and good ideas in the (third way), but that's all it was," said one MLA, speaking on the condition of anonymity. "It wasn't a complete package and what was clearly missing was the direct link between the 10 measures and how it would save money and assure sustainability."
He also said Klein had developed a fundamental credibility problem on the issue, as many Albertans suspected his fixation with health-care reform had more to do with self-interest and helping some well-connected business friends in Calgary than with genuinely dealing with the problems facing public health care.
