Convenient that Huckabee, and everyone else in the religious right, deliberately leaves out the next verse -- "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loves his Church." Clearly, those religious freaks support wife abuse. One can only suppose permitting it again would be Huckabee's first act as President.
Not being married myself, I have decided to ask the wives of others for "headship" as God commands. I'll let you know how that works out.
