He's actually resurrecting the old Reagan nonsense about tax cuts raising revenues. The timeline contradicts him. So do the facts. Just out of curiosity, have you heard any projections for what voter turnout will be on October 14? I am not going to vote. No, I am not apathetic or ignorant or any of the other tired stereotypes about non-voters. In fact, I normally do vote. But I have taken it upon myself to boycott the election as a protest against our electoral system. I am urging everyone to do the same.
I disagree, you argue 'our overlords' would be horrified by low voter turnout. Their actual reaction would be more like quiet satisfaction. They've been working hard to 'democracy proof' our economy. Not voting simply plays into their hands.
Even if you can't find anyone to vote for, there's always someone to vote against.
