OK, who had less than 24 hours in the pool?

On Sunday night the GOP Party Chairman criticized the GOP's real leader Rush Limbaugh:

STEELE: So let’s put it into context here. Let’s put it into context here. Rush Limbaugh is an entertainer. Rush Limbaugh, his whole thing is entertainment. Yes, it’s incendiary. Yes, it’s ugly.

...and everyone started their watches and placed their bets on how long Steele would go before groveling for forgiveness like every other Republican who's had the temerity to criticize Dear Leader has had to.

Less than a day as it turned out:

“My intent was not to go after Rush – I have enormous respect for Rush Limbaugh,” Steele said in a telephone interview. “I was maybe a little bit inarticulate. … There was no attempt on my part to diminish his voice or his leadership.”
